This is an educational building at the city of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. There are several buildings of other departments of the same institution in the site. The food technology department is six storied building in which the ground floor consists of administration office area with spacious entrance lobby and adequate meeting rooms and separate cabins for officers and common toilets. First, second and third floors consist of classrooms, laboratories, meeting rooms, examination halls and chambers of professors. On fourth floor Library, seminar room, examination hall and laboratories are provided. Fifth floor consists of 5 halls which can be used for various institutional purposes.

The food technology department building is a landmark in the architectural journey of the India. The building exterior is designed in exposed brickwork which results in zero maintenance for external wall finish and exhibits unique identity of the building. The building attracts and dominates human mind to enter and see the whole building from inside.
