This house is reciprocating to the architectural legacy of historical town of Bhokardan. It is built in Bhokardan (earlier known as Bhogawardhan in 2nd century BC). A place once was very dynamic and demonstrated various facets of cultural life such as art, architecture, literature, philosophy etc. It was on the route of Ujjain to Pratishtan (Paithan as it is known today). The built spaces of the house derived from what existed before on the same place, and attempts to depict the legacy of place. Landscaping in the surrounding open spaces within the plot boundary increases the nature friendliness of the bungalow.
