This is a memorial building for Sant Dnyaneshwar, who wrote the famous critical text on Bhagvadgeeta known as Dnyaneshwari at this same place. The Pais Khamb temple (the actual pillar where Sant Dnyaneshwar sat and written the text) is a part of this proposal, This project consists of meditation centre, a multipurpose hall, the statue of Sant Dnyaneshwar, Public Park with Replicas of important events in the life of Sant Dnyaneshwar, Cafeteria, Library, Book shop, Museum, Shop, Office, Water-bodies surrounding the statue, temple and central part.

The architecture of the proposed project is modern interpretation of Hemadpanti architecture which is exclusive of this region. The project creates a unique architectural space that allows visitors to spiritually and experientially connect with the three sacred places in Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj’s life — Apegaon (birthplace), Newasa (where the Dnyaneshwari was written), and Alandi (where he took Sanjeevan Samadhi).  Each zone authentically reflects the essence and atmosphere of these revered locations by representing rivers of at all three locations. Godavari, Pravara and Indrayani respectively.
