The location of this metro station is steeped in history. The design intervention, therefore, is to maintain a historical continuum without overpowering the existing context.
The proposed plaza creates a unique identity to this metro station by connecting the fort and the palace. It is a much-needed community space in this densely populated area and links the places of historic significance, a busy market and the ever buzzing Vani villas hospital.
the design proposal features amenities like OAT, café, information center, an art gallery that make it comfortable for people to use.
A bench, an artwork, a water dispenser in the right location can make a big difference in how people choose to use the place. Public art and play spaces in the design proposal can be a magnet for all ages and make the plaza a vibrant well used space.
Well-designed lighting and landscape add to the overall ambiance
