Prana …… an experiment
We say experiment because it is going to be dynamic and ‘always incomplete’. Our hope is that this project will keep changing and adding new and newer green technologies from all over the world.
In the future, we hope to add to these existing technologies of, earth air tunnel system, radiant cooling in floors, efficient water systems, sun tubes and LED lighting.
Another very important aspect that we want to emphasize is the project’s connection to traditionally available ‘old wisdom’ technologies. These local clay block walls, glass inset tiles, old doors, and windows, we hope will reinforce the idea of renewing, reuse and recycle. The whole exercise is to showcase that old and new can stand proudly shoulder to shoulder.
Finally measuring the performance of this envelope through- BMS (building management system) will be the true test of this project.
It is our hope that Prana infuses us all with new thinking.
